"I auditioned a number of well known speakers but the pmcs where in a league of their own. I ended up getting the twenty.23's. I still dont really understand how a speaker which such a small single mid bass driver can produce so much bass and its not just quantity, its controlled and musical. Treble is bright, detailed and sweet without ever sounding harsh. Mid range vocals are very open and natural, they made the other brands sound as if the singer had a box on their head! If you enjoy music you wont go wrong with a pair of pmcs, i very much doubt i'll ever buy another brand. The other half even approves as they look great, aren't the size of a fridge freezer and she agrees the sound so nice."

"We first heard the Twenty5.23’s at the 2017 Bristol HiFi show and both my wife and I knew they were the upgrade for our Totem Dreamcatchers. Bit of a price leap I know but the Totems have long been a favourite for us and HiFi shows have always left us appreciating the Totems by comparison. That was until we listened to the Twenty5.23’s. We auditioned these recently against Monitor Audio 200 Silver and B&W 704 S2 using our Roksan Kandy K2 amp at Sevenoaks HiFi and the Twenty5.23's had better balance, sound quality, dynamics and were considered easier to listen to without tiring. Having taken delivery, I was nervous at first about running them against my currently used Cyrus 8vs2 amp but I need not have worried. This combination has even better synergy in the room we have and we are now enjoying listening to familiar music as if it was the first time we heard the tracks. I realise an amp upgrade will make them shine even more but for now we are going to enjoy our new purchase … that is until the next upgrade. There is always a next upgrade. It was a great audition at Sevenoaks HiFi and my thanks go to J.J for the excellent build quality."

"Fabulous! These speakers have a very detailed and extended treble, but they never shout at you, so turning up the volume never gets uncomfortable. The bass is to die for, even in my "difficult" room with a sloped ceiling it is even, well-rounded and tuneful, without being overpowering. Vocals are beautiful, including backing vocals, where it's even possible to detect the accents of the singers. Toe them in slightly and imaging verges on holographic. For the record, I use Rega gear, so they're partnered with RP8/Ania/Aria turntable/cartridge/phono-stage, Saturn-R CD/DAC and Elicit-R amplifier. Cables and interconnects are Rega's own. The PMC's top it all off really well."

"The PMC Twenty5 23's have very impressive dynamics and bass control. Bass notes are clear and well defined, and it is easy to hear the studio heritage coming out in this regard. Sound is composed as volume increases which is important. They work well with my Exposure 2010S2D amplifier - I thought based on some reviews that I might need to upgrade the amp but don't see any need at this stage. My main reason for being interested in these speakers was the transmission line design. I have a listening room that is not large, and bass control and agility has been an issue with some other cheaper speakers. I took these speakers home for a listen and was sold not only on the bass control, but the impressive dynamics, which immediately put my previous speakers to shame."

"These are much improved speakers to the previous twenty 23 model with added punch and better mid range, as well as being better dynamically, clarity wise and just being more real and musical. I still get a smile on my face when I hear a pleasing piece of music because these pmc's do so much to faithfully reproduce music. It becomes almost a spiritual experience, that's how good they are. You'll need good electronics but one thing I will say with pmc, is that there doesn't seem a limit to how much you can squeeze out of them with amp upgrades. Highly recommended and one of the best speaker brands there is. Not much more to say than that, but when I change speakers there will probably only be one brand to choose from!"
