Each element of the stand has been designed to maximise performance.  Firstly, the ‘heavyweight’ steel column couples directly to the base of the speaker via a 8mm thread inset in the base of the speaker.  At this junction sits a substantial load-spreading steel disc and dense resonance-damping pad which absorbs unwanted resonances.  The column, which is weighted and damped internally,  is bolted directly to a solid 6mm steel plate, which, in turn, is also resonance damped.  Enveloping the heavy base is a beautifully trimmed timber clad cover available in the same silk finishes of the cabinet.
