Lucky, lucky, lucky! That’s how producer Cameron Craig feels after winning a pair of PMC’s fabulous result6 nearfield monitors in an exclusive prize draw held to mark the opening of the UK’s first QB1 XBDA-equipped recording studio.

“I’m delighted and surprised to have won this amazing prize,” he says. “I’m really looking forward to using the result6 monitors as I haven’t had a lot of experience with PMC speakers before but have heard great things about them. I can’t wait!”

An executive board member for the Music Producer’s Guild, Cameron was one of many distinguished guests who joined PMC at Tape, a super cool private members club in London that has installed the QB1 XBDA system in its new studio.

Cameron’s own studio is in Fulham and right now he’s busy working on a variety of projects. He recently finished a Stephen Merchant-directed film entitled Fighting with my Family, which is due out later this year, and is now putting the finishing touches on London Grooves loop library featuring Jason Cooper of The Cure and Jeremy Stacey from King Crimson.

He has also recently completed a mix for a new TV drama series called Trust, which is set in 1973 and recounts the abduction of John Paul Getty III, then-heir to Getty Oil.  With music composed by James Lavelle, this 10-part drama is directed by Danny Boyle and stars Donald Sutherland and Hilary Swank.
