The world’s biggest selling and widest circulation hi-fi magazine, What Hi-Fi?, has just announced its round up of nine of the best British stereo amplifiers of all time.
And guess what? Among the very illustrious list of amplifiers, from some of the biggest names in UK hi-fi manufacturing, is our very own Cor amplifier. This is a true testament to the incredible engineering of our R&D department, who took the many years’ experience we have in producing amplifiers for the professional audio world, such as those used with the BB5 studio monitors, and squeezed it into a home-friendly sized box. The result is the Cor – one of the most transparent and accurate integrated amplifiers available.

And talking of awards, we’re delighted to have been recognised at the Bristol Hi-Fi Show this past weekend as the overall winner in the Clarity Alliance, the UK hi-fi trade association, annual Best of Show Awards. Judged by a group of anonymous judges, which included reviewers, retailers and an audio consultant, the award was presented to our founder and chairman, Peter Thomas.
Our Bristol Show presentation featured the launch of the twenty5i series, so it’s a huge accolade that these speakers, just a few hours after their launch, were deemed to be the “Overall Best of Show” winners.
