Mateo Jasik
Mateo Jasik, founder of the hugely successful German reggae/hip hop band Culcha Candela, has installed PMC twotwo8 monitors in a production room at his studio in Berlin. The studio is supporting his newly formed record label and publishing company, MNF (Meine Neuen Freunde, which translates as My New Friends).
Mateo picked twotwo.8s because they delivers enough power and fun to produce the Urban Pop Trap music that his record label specialises in. Their ability to stay distortion free and with a flat, controlled bass response at any level is vital for a genre of this kind.
