PMC heads to Cologne on Wednesday 7 October, joining German pro-audio distributor ES-ProAudio at Maarweg Studio for an afternoon and evening dedicated to critical listening, mastering and professional monitoring.
The event will begin at 3pm with a special invitation-only mastering session, before opening to the public from 6pm–10pm for demonstrations, extended listening sessions and conversations with the PMC and ES-ProAudio teams.
At the heart of the system will be the PMC10, demonstrating the resolution, dynamics and tonal accuracy that allow engineers to make confident production decisions and ensure their work translates reliably beyond the studio.
The Cologne event will begin at 3pm with a special invitation-only mastering session, offering invited mastering engineers, producers, studio owners and other audio professionals the opportunity to explore PMC technology in a focused studio environment.
From 6pm–10pm, the event will open to the public, with extended listening sessions, demonstrations and opportunities to meet the PMC and ES-ProAudio teams and discuss studio, monitoring and system requirements.
At the heart of the system will be the PMC10, our three-way active studio monitor designed to provide the resolution, dynamics and tonal accuracy required for critical production decisions, while remaining compact enough for a broad range of control rooms.
Rather than simply hearing a loudspeaker in isolation, the Cologne event is intended to demonstrate what accurate monitoring can contribute to the entire creative process – revealing fine detail without exaggeration, preserving the musical balance of a recording and giving engineers the confidence that decisions made in the studio will translate reliably elsewhere.
PMC will be joined by ES-ProAudio, our German pro-audio distributor, with both teams available throughout the event to discuss system design, installation and the requirements of stereo and immersive production environments. ES-ProAudio is an established German professional-audio distributor and carries PMC’s studio monitoring range.
