Amsterdam is the next destination for PMC’s European Studio Tour, with a special professional listening event planned for Tuesday 13 October in partnership with our Benelux distributor Joystick Audio. Beginning at 10am and continuing into the evening, the event will put the PMC12 XBD at the centre of a series of demonstrations designed for producers, mixers, mastering engineers and studio professionals who want to spend serious time listening rather than simply seeing equipment at a show.
The event is planned as a focused gathering for the Dutch professional-audio community, combining a presentation of PMC technology with extended listening opportunities and individual demonstrations.
At its heart will be the PMC12 XBD, one of the most powerful systems in PMC’s brand new active studio-monitoring range. Combining the three-way PMC12 with dedicated XBD bass extension, the system is designed to reproduce everything from fine musical detail to extreme low-frequency information with the neutrality and consistency required for critical production decisions.
The format will deliberately keep numbers manageable, giving visitors sufficient time to listen properly, explore familiar material and discuss how the system might translate into their own working environment.
We’ll be joined by Joystick Audio, which represents PMC across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg and works extensively across recording, mixing, mastering and other professional-audio applications.
This Amsterdam stop forms part of PMC’s wider European programme celebrating 35 years of loudspeaker design and professional monitoring.
