Great music, exceptional analogue systems and a day dedicated to the enduring appeal of vinyl. On Saturday 19 September, we’ll be joining Vinyl Groove Audio at the beautiful Stanley House Hotel for A Celebration of Vinyl – a special event bringing together music lovers, carefully selected hi-fi systems and the opportunity to hear some outstanding records reproduced as they were meant to be heard. It promises to be a relaxed, highly focused day centred around one thing: the music.
Hosted by Vinyl Groove Audio, the event will feature a series of dedicated listening sessions, giving guests the opportunity to sit down, listen properly and experience what a carefully matched analogue system can deliver.
PMC will be supporting the event as part of our 35th anniversary year, continuing a series of events celebrating our long-standing connection with music – from the studios where records are created, mixed and mastered, through to their reproduction in the home.
Rather than a conventional hi-fi demonstration, A Celebration of Vinyl will put the records and the stories surrounding them firmly at the centre of the experience. Expect a carefully chosen selection of music, plenty of opportunity to discover new recordings and the chance to hear familiar favourites presented with the scale, detail and musical involvement that a great vinyl system can provide.
Three focused listening sessions are planned during the day, allowing each group plenty of time to enjoy the system without the distractions of a busy show environment. Representatives from Vinyl Groove Audio and PMC will also be available to talk about the equipment, music and the technology behind the system.
