Thirty-five years of PMC, celebrated with one of our longest-standing UK retailers. On Thursday 27 August, we’re heading to Basically Sound in Norfolk for an afternoon and evening dedicated to great music, great hi-fi and 35 years of PMC. With three special listening sessions featuring our latest prophecy loudspeakers alongside Michell turntables, it’s an opportunity to hear some of our newest products while celebrating a relationship between PMC and Basically Sound that stretches back to the early 1990s.
Basically Sound has been part of the PMC story for almost as long as we have. The relationship began at The Old School in Bracon Ash in the early Nineties and continued when Basically Sound moved to Calveley Court, Reymerston in 2006. Over that time, PMC has grown from a young British loudspeaker company into a manufacturer whose professional and domestic loudspeakers are used around the world.
For this special anniversary event, the focus will be firmly on music. Guests will have the opportunity to hear our prophecy range in a series of dedicated demonstrations throughout the afternoon and evening, with plenty of opportunity to discover what the latest generation of PMC loudspeakers can deliver.
PMC Distribution brand Michell will also feature prominently, with both the latest Gyro and Revolv turntables forming part of the demonstration systems – combining two great names in British hi-fi in one event.
The event takes place at Basically Sound, Calveley Court, Reymerston, Norfolk, on Thursday 27 August 2026, with three dedicated demonstration sessions at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm. Light refreshments will also be available throughout the event.
