PMC returns to CEDIA Expo 2026 with US distributor Playback Distribution for an immersive private cinema demonstration built around the world-first public demonstration of the new PMC10 XBD system. For more than 30 years, PMC loudspeakers have been used throughout the professional world of film scoring, recording, mixing and post-production. At CEDIA Expo 2026, PMC and its US distributor Playback Distribution will demonstrate how that professional reference can be carried directly into the very finest private cinemas.
At the heart of the system is the new PMC10 XBD, making its first public demonstration anywhere in the world. Used for the left, centre and right channels, the fully active PMC10 XBD system delivers exceptional dynamic range, deep and controlled bass extension and the extraordinary midrange clarity required to reproduce dialogue, music and effects with absolute precision.
The LCR system is integrated with six PMC15 SUB subwoofers, PMC Ci series surround and height channels and additional low-frequency reinforcement, with the complete immersive system controlled by a StormAudio™ processor.
The result is designed to demonstrate exactly what makes PMC different: the ability to reproduce everything from the smallest spatial detail to the full-scale impact of a cinematic soundtrack without losing transparency, control or tonal accuracy.
Visitors on Thursday 3 September will also have the opportunity to hear special guest recording and scoring mixer Tommy Vicari, who will present sessions at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm in Sound Room 6.
