MR Hifi will once again be exhibiting in its familiar K218 room, where the focus will be on some of the most ambitious products currently available in high-end audio.
Representing PMC’s 35th anniversary year will be the prophecy series, which has received an extremely positive response internationally since its launch. For HIFI2026, MR Hifi will demonstrate the largest model in the range, the three-way prophecy9, giving visitors the chance to hear the scale, resolution and musical engagement of the series in a carefully assembled reference system.
Amplification will come from the formidable Pass Labs INT-250, delivering 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms and providing the authority and control required to get the very best from the prophecy9.
The source is equally exceptional. MR Hifi will be demonstrating dCS Varèse, the company’s flagship digital playback system. With a price of around €300,000, Varèse sits at the very top of the digital audio world and will make this a particularly rare opportunity to hear a complete system of this calibre. dCS representative Alasdair McDonald will also be attending the show.
The system will be completed with Cardas cabling and acoustic treatment from Akustiikka.com, ensuring both the equipment and listening environment are optimised for the demonstrations.
