The event will be split into two focused sessions, giving guests plenty of opportunity to listen properly, explore the systems and compare three very different approaches to music reproduction.
System One will feature PMC’s reference MB2 SE loudspeakers, driven by a Bryston BR20 preamplifier and 7B monoblock power amplifiers. Analogue playback will come from a Michell Gyro, with digital music provided by an Innuos Stream 3 with Chord Electronics.
System Two brings together the newer PMC prophecy7 with our own COR integrated amplifier. A Michell Revolv will provide the vinyl source, while the digital front end comprises an Innuos Stream 1 with LPSU and Performance DAC.
The third system demonstrates just how much performance can be achieved from a more compact setup. PMC prophecy1 loudspeakers will be partnered with a Bluesound Node Icon and Chord Electronics Berti, creating an accessible system with a serious focus on musical performance.
All three systems will use Chord Company cabling, providing consistency throughout the demonstrations.
The event provides a rare opportunity to hear everything from a large-scale reference PMC system to the compact prophecy1 in the same venue and to explore how different source and amplification combinations shape the listening experience.
