Across the two days, Hi-Fi Lounge will dedicate three demonstration rooms to the celebration. In the main PMC retrospective sessions, our team will take listeners through 35 years of music and loudspeaker development, using a pair of mighty MB2 XBDs powered by Bryston 7B3 mono amplifiers. The sessions will feature music with which PMC has a direct connection, accompanied by some of the stories behind the recordings.
PMC founder Peter Thomas will also host two very special, intimate reel-to-reel sessions – one each day at midday. Peter will bring a selection of special recordings to play through PMC Fenestria loudspeakers powered by Bryston 28B3 mono amplifiers, sharing stories and memories behind the music.
Upstairs, Michell Audio will showcase its latest Revolv and Gyro turntables alongside PMC Prophecy loudspeakers and the PMC cor integrated amplifier, adding a distinctly analogue flavour to the weekend.
Representatives from PMC and Michell will be on hand throughout, with refreshments available, making this as much a celebration as a demonstration.
The event takes place at Hi-Fi Lounge on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September 2026. PMC retrospective sessions run at 10am and 2pm each day, with Peter Thomas’s reel-to-reel session at midday. Places for the presentations are limited, so advance booking is strongly recommended.
