PCB Assembler

Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the role is to work within the production department as part of a successful team manufacturing of PMC Loudspeakers. You will be following our unique designs to solder our electronic components together.

The role of the successful PCB Assembler will include:
• Carry out hand soldering on various products to a quality high standard.
• Conduct any general assembly tasks including the use of hand tools, fixtures and fitting.
• Undertake various electronic manufacturing tasks involving hand placement, soldering, cable, and loom assembly
• Have an understanding off electronic assembly techniques and components.
• Maintain quality of own work within production.
• Carry out basic mechanical tasks using small tools and other general assembly tasks.

Requirements:
• Proven experience of working within an Electronic Manufacturing environment
• Strong hand soldering skills
• Familiar with drawings, tools, following diagrams, to assemble components on to the PCB
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• High attention to detail and workmanship is required
• Flexible and adaptable to support production plans
• Able to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Have a flexible approach to working routines
• Able to use your own initiative, able to ask questions
• Manage time effectively, able to plan and manage workloads
• Work in different locations if required

• The number of hours is 20 working hours (a 30-minute unpaid lunch break will be added if the hours fall over 1pm). We are happy to negotiate when these working hours are, as long as they fall within the building working hours and a regular working pattern is preset
• Building working hours Mondy – Thursday 8.30am-5.15pm & Friday 8.30am-1pm

Working hours:
20 hours over 5 days (if these hours fall over lunch, a 30-minute unpaid break will be included taking the hours to 4.5 hours)
